The city council of Shenzhen has launched a regeneration program to attract and increase touristic activities in the Village.of Jiaochang Wei. The Dream House is previgiously located  directly on the coast line of the sea and has the possibility to get direct access to the beach and is seeking for spatial improvement.

The new additions are unified by a continuous ribbon connect all element of the lot. This ribbon gives a more dynamic interface .This floating element is very iconic and functional, as it evolves from structural element, to a bench, to a baluster, to end up as a roof and is lighten within its thickness. Within this singular gesture, we integrate new functions, such as a beach bar café, some suspended art nest and and event terrace, all to be enjoy by both guests and outsiders.

The event terrace allows a structure space to host event such as weddings, concert or other parties. The terrace can be use as stage, while the stairs and bleachers can be use by the assistance. Those elevated elements offer a great view, enabling to power to immerge yourself in the landscape.
