The main concept for the planning of UNIT office was to make it bi-functional. On one hand it is a design office, which serves all work purposes, and on the second hand it is a gallery. Both functions can be equally fulfil when the time comes. The strategy to achieved our aim is to re-invent the table as a multi-functional furniture. Occupying the full width of the local, the table is split and off-centered, both vertically and horizontally, toward the main entrance . Those simple operations to the volume allows the table to serve several purposes. The change of level and the split allows it to become a stand to display model, at comfortable eye level, with the possibility to go around. The long linear table hosting the work stations orient through an imaginary corridor, where the user can enjoy the exhibited work on the dedicated space of the parallel wall.
